Take the Test to See if You Have Stage 3-C Adrenal Fatigue:

  1. I am desperate!
  2. Do I get irritated easily? The slightest thing turns me into a raving lunatic.
Example: Difficulty getting the key into the lock on the first try. Going through the checkout line is extremely stressful.
  3. Heightened sensitivities: Do I have an intolerance to certain smells, bright lights, or sounds?
Example: Certain brands of cleaning products are intolerable.
  4. Do I feel worse after exercise?
  5. Do I have an intolerance to heat?
  6. When I wake up in the morning, am I depressed and sad?
  7. Do I spend much of my time in “problem-solving” mode?
  8. Is my default thinking pattern ruminating?
Example: You run through scenarios of how you’re going to handle the next big crisis. You think through every variable: “What if he says this? What if he says that?” Then you plan your response. This scenario then morphs into a slightly different version, and you repeat the same mental gymnastics. You figure out exactly what you’ll do or say. With this total analysis and supercharged thinking, you believe you’ll avoid failure if or when it happens. You try to cover all the bases—catapulting from one scenario to the next all night long.
  9. Do I wake up at 3:00 in the morning and can’t go back to sleep?
  10. How many times do I get up to pee during the night?
  11. Do I have to drink water when I wake up?
  12. Have I been to too many doctors trying to figure out what’s wrong with me—with no answers?
  13. Have I tried many different supplements and remedies, but nothing really works?
  14. Have I not had a feeling of “well-being” for as long as I can remember?
  15. Have I become socially inept and stopped spending time with friends or going to events like weddings or get-togethers?
Sometimes I go, but when I’m there, I don’t want to be there. I feel detached.
  16. I have brain fog and trouble remembering words or names.
  17. Sometimes I crash completely. It’s a total shutdown—what they used to call a “nervous breakdown.”
I go off into a corner, hug my dog, and cry profusely.
  18. My friends accuse me of being spiritually sick.
  19. The dirty dishes are left in the sink, but I don’t have the gumption to do anything about it.
  20. I’m pretty much house-bound. I can go to the store for essentials, but I come right back.
If I get stuck outside—like at the checkout when they switch cashiers and I have to wait for them to change the resister drawer—I may have an “adrenal panic.”
  21. I’ve noticed that sometimes when I lie down, I can hear my loud heartbeat on my pillow.
  22. I have an arrhythmia.
  23. I have tachycardia.
  24. I have low blood pressure.
  25. People keep telling me I’m dehydrated but I drink plenty of water.
  26. Constipation.

The test you’ve just taken is for: Adrenal Fatigue Stage 3-C only.
If you don’t have all of these symptoms, it doesn’t mean you don’t have adrenal fatigue. You may have Stage 2, or you may be dealing with another health issue entirely.

Adrenal Fatigue Stages

  • Stage 1 – No symptoms.
  • Stage 2 – You feel wired and tired. Few or no physical symptoms, but psychological issues like sadness or worry. Exercise is unaffected. You have plenty of energy.
  • Stage 3 – You just took the test.
  • Stage 4 – Bed-bound. Life-threatening.
